Plettenberg Bay has it all – magnificent beaches, indigenous forests and mountains. ‘Plett’ is also the perfect base from which to explore more of the Garden Route, from Mossel Bay in the West to Jeffreys Bay and St Francis Bay in the East and inland to George and Oudtshoorn. Undertake a 1½ - 2½ hour river boat cruise up the Keurbooms River and a short walk in the Keurbooms Nature Reserve – a bird lover’s paradise;

Visit our free ranging primate sanctuary – Monkeyland – in the natural Tsitsikamma Forest – see a wide variety of species from around the world, a living forest experience that will stay with you forever;

Also visit our beautiful bird sanctuary – Birds of Eden – the largest single free flight Aviary in the World with indigenous forest, waterfalls and elevated walkways all incorporated in the aviary;

Visit the Knysna Elephant Park 10 kms from Plett. Touch and feed the most southerly elephants in the world. Their herd consists of 7 adults and 5 baby elephants;

Go horse riding in the surrounding countryside;
